Ruppert Landscape is pleased to announce the promotion of Emil Saweros to director of information technology for the company. In this role, he will be a critical link between the department and the business, ensuring all technology systems and applications support operational goals and objectives. He’ll be overseeing infrastructure, network security, and software development, providing strategic solutions and opportunities for increased efficiency within the organization.
Saweros holds a bachelor’s degree from Cairo University, a master’s degree in computer science from Loyola University, and a PhD from Towson University where he focused on big data, data visualization, and mobile and web development. He has been an integral part of Ruppert’s IT department for over 10 years. Since 2019, he has served as the director of software development for the landscape management division, guiding a team of 12 developers who deliver custom software solutions that fit the company’s unique requirements.
“Through Emil’s guidance, we’ve been able to better optimize our business processes and streamline our teams’ workflow enabling increased focus on our people and our customers,” said Tom Barry, president of the company’s landscape management division. “In his new role, he will continue our efforts to better integrate some of the technology advances we’ve developed within the maintenance division throughout the company.”
