Introducing our Snow Service Report

By Josh Nichols, Regional Snow Manager

Communication is essential for all the services we provide to our customers. Our Property Service Report (PSR) and Irrigation Service Report (ISR) have served as our primary communication tools for our landscape maintenance teams, ensuring that we keep our clients informed and engaged. This winter season, we are excited to introduce our customized Snow Service Report (SSR), designed specifically to enhance our communication regarding snow and ice management.

The goal of the SSR is to clearly summarize the specific Snow and Ice Management services provided. Like the PSR and ISR, this report is created and delivered using our custom Ruppert mobile app. Our teams can now select from a range of checkbox options tailored to the various services, making it easier to provide a comprehensive overview of the work completed. Additionally, our teams will have the option to add specific comments related to each site, allowing for more detailed feedback and insights. This customization also enables our crews to communicate site-specific instructions for clients who may have unique needs, such as high-traffic areas requiring additional attention.

To further improve the report’s effectiveness, the photo section has been revamped. It now accommodates two photos per row, which helps reduce the overall page count while allowing us to include more visual documentation. High-quality photos play a crucial role in illustrating site conditions and the work performed. This visual aspect is especially important for snow services that may occur around the clock—day, night, or weekend—when prompt communication is key.

We believe that clear and efficient communication is vital to building trust and ensuring customer satisfaction. As part of our commitment to listening and being responsive to our customers, we welcome client feedback on the SSR’s format and content. This feedback is used to continually refine the report, ensuring it remains an effective tool for enhancing transparency and communication. By implementing these updates, we aim to enhance our service quality and maintain transparency with our clients.
