Overview
A National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP) Merit Award and Landscape Contractors Association (LCA) Grand Award-winning project. Archstone Gaithersburg Station is a mixed-use luxury residential project located in the historic city of Old Town Gaithersburg in Maryland. The site provides 389 units and 17,500 sq./ft. of street-level retail, with a building design that fits with the area’s rich architectural heritage and provides a verdant oasis in the midst of a bustling urban metropolis. The site’s three beautiful courtyard gardens are connected by winding paths that connect through arched breezeways. Interspersed throughout this lush landscape are overhead trellises and park benches, culminating with a resort-style swimming pool, sundeck, and pavilion with outdoor kitchen and fire pits. Mature varieties of Japanese Maples, Weeping Willows and Magnolias were blended to create the feeling of an established landscape.
