Overview
A National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP) and Landscape Contractors Association (LCA) award-winning project. Located just east of Pentagon City, Crystal City is an urban environment that is almost exclusively populated by high-rise apartments, corporate offices, hotels and numerous shops and restaurants. The site encompasses 19 separate buildings in a 21-square block area and is designed to give the feel of a suburban neighborhood in the midst of a city environment. To that end, this pedestrian-friendly, open-air environment boasts lush landscaping, water features, parks with athletic equipment, playgrounds, outside art exhibits and pedestrian plazas.
