Overview
A National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP) and Landscape Contractors Association (LCA) award-winning project. This Sunrise Senior Living facility, located on Connecticut Avenue in Washington, D.C., was designed to create an “at home” feel for residents and a blended look for the surrounding neighborhood. In that vein, many design elements were incorporated into a very small space—fountains, benches, raised planters, pergola, seating areas, and statuary—all of which flow together to create a cohesive, non-stilted look.
Project Scope
Installation of landscape, irrigation, drainage, pavers, masonry walls, water feature, boulders, soils, and site furnishings; landscape maintenance.
