Overview
A National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP) and Landscape Contractors Association (LCA) award-winning project. The T. Rowe Price Owings Mills Financial Center, situated on 38 acres in Owings Mills, Maryland, is a Class A facility. The $975,000 landscape installation was intended to mirror the firm’s existing campus, which was opened in 1996 and has about 600,000 square feet of office space. The two buildings were designed, constructed and operated according to the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System, a nationally accepted benchmark for environmental health, sustainable site development and energy conservation. The buildings were designed to provide an array of services and support for the company’s investment and corporate activities as well as business units. The suburban campus offers social activities, health and fitness facilities and a collegial atmosphere complete with outdoor patio dining and a wooded campus setting with running trails and green spaces.
Project Scope
Installation of landscape, irrigation, soils, erosion control, site furnishings, turf, meadow grasses, several thousand shrubs, over 13,000 grasses and perennials and 300 trees (some up to 8” caliper).
