Overview
A National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP) and Landscape Contractors Association (LCA) award-winning project. Waterfront Parks at the Yards is at the heart of an increasingly vibrant Capitol Riverfront district of Washington, DC. This is a public-private partnership spanning 42 acres, 1.8 million sq. ft. office space, 2,800 residential units, 160,000-350,000 sq. ft. retail, and a 5.87-acre riverfront park. The site incorporates open grassy areas and well-landscaped outdoor rooms, a waterfall and canal-like water feature, an elevated overlook, an iconic bridge and light sculpture, terraced performance venue, and a riverfront boardwalk.
Project Scope
All site masonry, soil installation, paving, bio retention vault installation, drainage, site furnishings, ornamental metal fencing, boulder installation, planting and landscape management.
