Laytonsville, MD – Ruppert Landscape is pleased to announce the promotion of Reid Altavilla, Jesse Lepinsky, Jeff Williams and Vince Ridgell and the addition of Carlos Argueta and Jordan Rupp in the company’s fleet department.
Altavilla, a resident of Warrenton, VA, has been promoted to corporate fleet manager. He has worked in the automotive industry for over 33 years, including 20 years with Ruppert. He joined the company in 1996 as a mechanic/painter in our Gainesville, VA landscape management branch and quickly rose through the ranks to become shop manager, then managed multiple shops throughout the company before becoming regional fleet manager. In his new role as corporate fleet manager, he will oversee the regional fleet managers as well shop managers in the Laytonsville and Forestville locations. In addition, he will continue to look for ways to improve shop processes and procedures and increase productivity.
Lepinsky, a resident of Front Royal, VA, has been promoted to regional fleet manager. He has over 17 years of automotive industry experience, having worked as lead mechanic at General Motors for 15 years before joining Ruppert as shop manager in our Gainesville branch. In his new role, he will oversee multiple shop managers, including those in the Gainesville, Alexandria, Richmond, Washington, D.C. and Frederick branches.
Williams, a resident of Bealeton, VA, has been promoted to shop manager in our Gainesville branch. He has over 26 years of experience in the automotive body and paint industry, having acted as a service manager for a pre-owned Saab dealership before joining Ruppert two years ago as a mechanic in Gainesville.
Ridgell, a resident of Waldorf, MD has been promoted to shop manager in our Forestville, MD landscape management branch. He joined the company in 2014 with over 30 years of experience as a mechanic, having previously held management positions and often entrusted with training other shop personnel.
As shop managers, Williams and Ridgell will respectively be responsible for overseeing fleet operations in their shop, including the supervision of mechanics, the maintenance of the branch’s fleet vehicles and equipment and the preservation of a well-organized, clean, safe and productive facility.

In addition to these internal promotions, the company has added two new members to the fleet team.
Carlos Argueta, a resident of Dumfries, VA, has been hired as a mechanic in our Alexandria, VA landscape management branch. He has eight years of experience in the automotive field and holds several ASE certifications as well as a Virginia state inspection license.
Jordan Rupp, a resident of Frederick, MD, has been hired as a mechanic in our Frederick landscape management branch. He has six years of experience in the automotive field and has undergone training for auto mechanics.
As mechanics, Argueta and Rupp will be responsible for maintaining the company’s fleet of cars, trucks, trailers, and equipment as well as keeping an organized, clean, safe and productive shop facility.
