Ruppert Landscape partnered with the Landscape Contractors Association MD•DC•VA (LCA) to host their September meeting on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at Ruppert’s corporate headquarters in Laytonsville, MD, with over 100 people in attendance.
“We have been LCA members for over 40 years, and we’re pleased to be involved with an organization that does such great work on behalf of our industry and keeps us informed on horticultural and landscape best practices,” said CEO Craig Ruppert.
The event allows members and prospective members—landscape contractors, landscape designers, landscape architects, and industry suppliers—to interact in a relaxed outdoor setting. A panel discussion featured past LCA presidents Ray Gustin III of Plants and Praise, Kevin O’Neill of Great American Landscapes, Joel Hafner of Fine Earth Landscape, and Ken Thompson of Ruppert Landscape, who shared insights, experiences, and lessons learned.
“LCA is focused on connecting professional green industry members in the Virginia, Maryland, and D.C. area with events like this, which provide great opportunities to learn and the chance to network and gain powerful insights from one another, allowing all our companies to become even stronger,” said LCA President Josh Kane. “A sentiment that all the panelists shared was that they owed much of their success to those who gave them a helping hand or useful insight along the way.”
Event exhibitors included Babikow Greenhouses, Country Springs Wholesale Nursery, HARVEST, JK Enterprise Landscape Supply, MulchMate Quarry Connections, SavATree, SiteOne Landscape Supply, and SynaTek.
